Many congregations within the Metropolitan Chicago Synod have thriving youth ministries. We seek to support and enable these groups to connect and gather, and to carry out God’s work in their communities.

Tickets Now Available for Synod Youth Lock-in, November 10-11

This year's synod youth lock-in will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 10 and 11, 2017, beginning at 9 p.m. on November 10 at Enchanted Castle (1103 S. Main St. Lombard, IL 60148). The event will end at 5 a.m. on November 11. There will be no need to travel between locations this year as the entire event will be held at Enchanted Castle (, 1103 S. Main St., Lombard, IL 60148. The cost is $35 per person.

The opening music performer/speaker will be Trey Pearson. Pearson was formerly lead singer of the band Everyday Sunday, which scored five U.S. Christian number one singles and twenty Christian Top 10 hits. Pearson will soon be releasing Love is Love, his first album as solo artist, which features the single "New Horizon" (the music video was filmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Chicago).
