The Lutheran Inserts

Included in The Lutheran six times throughout the year, the synod supplement features stories and information of interest to people throughout the Metropolitan Chicago Synod, ELCA. The main emphasis of the synod supplement is to inform people of and interpret events that have already occurred. Articles should have an interest beyond the local congregation.

Photographs or graphics should accompany most articles. Images must be at least 300 dpi, 5x7 in size, and in color (if possible).  Articles are typically 300-500 words in length.

Correction:  One of the people in the photograph accompanying the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) article in the June 2010 supplement (page D) is not correctly identified. Rabbi Laurence Edwards (at right in the photograph) is shown in conversation with LSTC faculty Esther Menn and Klaus-Peter Adam. Dr. Edwards is Rabbi at Congregation Or Chadash in Chicago and teaches courses at Loyola University.
