Candidate Selection

Selecting the right candidate takes time.

With the Call Committee in place, the selection and interview process will begin. It is during this time that the Committee meets with the pastoral candidate and receives his or her recommendations. During this time, the synod is also involved, guiding the process through the congregation and committee’s selection.  Congregational meetings take place so that the congregation can vote on the specific candidate. The following forms and documents are designed to help you through the selection and interview process.
