Partners for Sacred Spaces Workshop

Online Registration

On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the synod office will host a Partners for Sacred Spaces Workshop at the synod office, 1420 W. Dickens Ave., Chicago, IL 60614. The cost is $10 and lunch will be provided. Online registration is available at here. Space is limited.

Partners for Sacred Places is the only national, non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that focuses on equipping congregations in historic sacred places to serve as institutions that nurture transformation in their communities. Tools and resources that Partners offers include capital campaigns and feasibility studies, community engagement and asset mapping, discovery studies, economic valuation studies, and shared space planning. Through this work, Partners seeks to find solutions and create optimism and hope for the future of historic, purpose-built sacred places.

This workshop will be ideal for those seeking to raise new funds for their buildings, use their assets more effectively, and deepen connections and service to the community. It will be innovative, provide practical help on property care and stewardship, and combine the best of the resources, techniques, and knowledge developed by Partners since its founding in 1989.

Over the past 30 years, Partners has served over 100,000 congregations and other organizations in all 50 states—including consulting services in 22 states and counting—and represents the needs and concerns of older, community-serving sacred places across America.

If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Drake in the synod office at or 773-248-0021.
