Audit (Round Robin)
Use the voluntary round-robin congregational audit process
Metropolitan Chicago Synod congregations are called to strengthen and be resources for each other. Therefore, at the 2009 assembly, the synod adopted a new resolution, establishing a voluntary round-robin congregational audit process. In this process, one congregation would be encouraged to submit to an audit by a team from another synod congregation, using the ELCA guidelines, and would, in turn, provide an audit team to audit another participating congregation using the same guidelines. Participating congregations will be recognized and celebrated by the Synod Assembly.
You can also read the resolution in its entirety.
