plus tax. Up to four individuals may share a room. However, you must
identify your own roommates, and indicate that information when you make
your reservations.
This year's assembly theme is "God's work. Our
hands." and is suggested by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The
plenary session speaker will be Kelly Fryer. She is the co-founder and
executive director of A.R.E.: A Renewal Enterprise, and a faculty member
in the non-profit management graduate program at Spertus College in
Chicago, Ill. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University (BA, economics
and political science), Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia
(MDiv), and Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago (MTh, missional
ecclesiology), and a former church redevelopment/mission pastor and
seminary professor.
Friday afternoon - Church Reborn: Acts I & II
It’s tempting to look around – at our world, our
congregations, and even ourselves! – and think that CHANGE is
impossible. Well, think again! In this presentation, we’ll dive into the
story of the early church together, as it’s told in the Book of Acts,
and find that CHANGE is what happens whenever the Holy Spirit shows up.
